Give park time, river time and transfers their own place in the plan.

01 / FIELD NOTES

Keep Kasane and the park distinct

A Kasane hotel or lodge can support a Chobe visit, but it is not automatically accommodation inside a park or a package including park entry. Establish where you are sleeping, how your activities start and which company provides them. The property's name or a wildlife photograph cannot settle those questions.

02 / FIELD NOTES

Plan the land and river separately

A game drive and a river excursion can have different starting points, timings and inclusions. Obtain those details from the actual operator for your dates. Leave room between activities, particularly when different providers handle transfers. We do not promise sightings or attach a generic safari schedule to a room booking.

03 / FIELD NOTES

Confirm the exact pickup location

Use the full hotel name and address on transfer instructions. Check whether pickup at the hotel is included or whether you must meet elsewhere. If you are arriving from or travelling onwards to another country, check current official entry and border requirements separately; an accommodation reservation does not establish your ability to make the crossing.

Choose the stay for the rest of the day

Decide whether you want meals on site, a kitchen in your unit or a resort-style place to rest between outings. Verify facilities with the property rather than extrapolating from the general word lodge. Keep activity costs and cancellation terms visible alongside the accommodation total so a lower room price does not conceal a less suitable itinerary.
